Joomla – Content Management System (CMS)

Many of my clients expressed a desire to have a web site designed were they could edit their own site. Literally makeing changes to their web site from the keyboard of their personal computer.  They wanted to be able to go online with a username and password and add an article or upload a new class schedule.

We are all in the process of  simplify our lives and our  small businesses. A Content Management System can give you the control over your web site maintenance and save you money.

I wondered about a Content Management System I could offer my clients.  Researching the various options took some time, but the breadcrumbs lead me to Joomla!©. 
 
Joomla! is an Open Source software Frontdoor Web Design can use to build your web site.  A Username and Password will enable you to go online and make changes to any text, photo, video, or article that your web designer has set up for you.

Joomla! offers an extensive amount of plug-ins contributed by their members for photo galleries, blogs, shopping carts, forms, etc.

Joomla! uses html in an easy to use edit screen for you to make your changes.  Frontdoor Web Design will organize and add notes to the html language to make the process of editing easy for you to accomplish.  Fontdoor Web Design also proveds a glossary of commonly used html terms for you to refer to.  I can say a couple of hours of figuring out the system and you will be set for years of accomplished web maintenance.
